The proposed Work consists of furnishing three (3) 69kV Circuit Breakers or one ( 1) Relay and Control Panel . Bids will be accepted for SF6 style or vacuum style breakers. All bids shall be signed and submitted in duplicate on the blanks, which are provided separately with the Specifications. Bids shall state the price by item and shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope marked: Bids for City of Columbiana 69kV Circuit Breakers And Relay and Control Panel and addressed to the attention : City Manager 28 West Friend St. Columbiana, Ohio 44408 Bidders must use the printed forms provided in the bidding document therefore, as none other will be accepted . Each proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties making the same, and all parties interested therein and must include a notarized noncollusion clause. The bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond in accordance with the Ohio Revised Code 153.54, redeemable by the City of Columbiana , Ohio for ten percent ( 10%) of the total amount of the bid as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted , a contract will be entered into. In lieu of a "bid bond," a certified check, on a solvent bank, made payable to The City of Columbiana, in the sum of ten percent ( 10%) of the total amount of the bid will also be accepted as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into. 7. The successful bidder will be required to post a Performance-Payment Bond in the amount of one hundred percent ( 100% ) of the total amount of the contract awarded. The bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of 60 days after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids.
