Question Deadline 07/23/2026 Bidders and Subbidders requiring clarification or interpretation of Bidding Documents shall make written request which shall reach Engineer at least four (4) days prior to date for receipt of Bids. The Project is comprised of one (1) Individual Contracts: Contract No. 1 - General Construction. The Contract Documents are as defined in the Instructions to Bidders and the Agreement. The terms of the Contract Documents apply to these specifications as fully as though repeated herein. The format of these Specifications is based upon the CSI MASTERFORMAT (2004 Edition), however, differences in format and subject matter location do exist. It is the Contractor's sole responsibility to thoroughly read and understand these Specifications and request written clarification of those portions that are unclear. Division of the Work as made in these Contract Documents is for the purpose of specifying and describing work which is to be completed. There has been no attempt to make a classification according to trade or agreements which may exist between Contractor, subcontractors, trade unions, or other organizations. Such division and classification of the Work shall be Contractor's sole responsibility. The primary specifications are the contract documents. if a specification is not otherwise provided in the contract documents, The North Dakota Department of Transportation Specifications shall apply. The following paragraph generally describes the Work for the awarded contract 1. Work generally includes: civil site work, paving and grading, sidewalk, and other items shown in the project plans.
