Renovation of a water / sewer project in Pataskala, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The City of Pataskala has awarded a construction contract to Kirk Bros Co., Inc. for the Water Treatment Plant No. 1 Improvements, located at 7024 Hazelton-Etna Road Pataskala, Ohio 43062. The primary purpose of this project is to replace aging gravity iron filters and improve overall treatment and operational efficiency. The Water Treatment Plant No. 1 Improvement Project will include, but is not limited to, the following work: o Demolition and replacement of two existing gravity iron filters. Demolition and replacement of influent and effluent piping from the gravity iron filters. Removal and replacement of valving used for all three iron filters. Automation of backwash process for all three gravity iron filters. A new raw water line from well No. 5 to the head of the plant. A new concrete curb installed around the salt storage tank Testing, startup, and verification that all installed equipment and systems. Project Schedule Construction for this project is expected to begin in September 2026 and last approximately 10 months. The selected Consultant shall provide full-time construction inspection services throughout the construction period. Actual hours may vary based on the contractor's schedule, progress of the work, and project needs. The contractors tentative schedule has been added to the end of this Request for Proposal.
