Description

New construction of a mixed-use development in Markham, Ontario. Design plans call for the construction of a 1,297,695-square-foot, 38-story above grade, 2,088-unit multi-residential development; and 42,001-square-foot retail development.

Construction of 6 mixed-use towers (28, 30, 30, 34, 36 and 38 storeys) with a total of 2,088 residential units on Metrolinx-owned lands surrounding Mount Joy GO station in northeast Markham. Each stand-alone building would rise above a 6 to 8-storey podium with flexible retail/commercial space at-grade. TIMELINE: Conceptual planning is underway. Community engagement process is underway; public comment period is open through July 18, 2026. The project will require municipal approvals. There are currently no construction timelines. Further update early 2027.
