The work includes mobilization and demobilization with all required labor and equipment, excavation of materials within the crib joint at the sinkhole location to the elevations shown on the contract drawings, removal of the existing ladder installed at the crib joint, removal of marine growth along the height of the crib joint, removal and disposal of concrete on the key wall to the extent shown on the contract drawings, cleaning of existing reinforcing bars of rust, scale, and debris prior to the placement of new concrete, installation of new concrete repair to the existing key wall at the crib joint, forming and installation of a new key at the back of the key wall to the elevations shown on the contract drawings, backfilling materials to elevations to match existing conditions complete with asphalt paving, installation of joint repairs at the crib joints, and installation of a new galvanized ladder. Bidders are required to prepare, submit, and implement an approved Construction Schedule, a Site-Specific Safety Plan, a Site-Specific Environmental Protection Plan, and a Project Execution Methodology. Marine Atlantic reserves the right to accept tenders in whole or in part. The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted. Proposals must be received by the closing date and hour. Late Proposals will not be considered.
