Roadway improvements including sidewalk construction, grading, drainage, paving, curb and gutter installation, ADA ramps, pavement marking, erosion control, and traffic management. Bonds: 5% Bid Bond. The Project consists generally of the following major items: Valley Drive Sidewalk: Sidewalk improvements along Lynn Street through Valley drive existing sidewalk. Avent Ferry Project: There is improvement on Avent Ferry Road to various locations from Glencastle way to Gorman Street, including the realignment of Athens Drive intersection. This project includes Grading, drainage, Paving, curb & gutter, ADA ramps, Pavement marking and erosion control. Cobblestone Ct. Sidewalk Project: The project is located along Cobblestone Ct. from existing sidewalk in the middle of the street to Ridge Rd . to construct 5' sidewalk and traffic management. The City has an aspirational goal of 15% of the total contract amount to be performed by MWBE businesses in contracts awarded by the City for: (i) construction and building projects of $300,000 or more; and (ii) construction and building projects of $ 100,000 or more that have any state funding. Questions and comments on the plans and specifications will be accepted in writing by email until 5:00 pm on Monday, 3 August 2026. The final Addendum, if required, will be issued by the end of the day on Monday, August 10, 2026.
