Conversion of the existing HVAC system to a 4-pipe hydronic system. The Work consists of the following project and includes, but is not limited to, the scope listed: BCA Project #2543: Separate the Criminal Justice Center and Governmental Center heating plants. Provide piping, standby pump for Governmental Center, air separators, and expansion tanks as required for individual 4-pipe systems Separate the Criminal Justice Center and Governmental Center chiller plants. Provide piping, standby pumps for Criminal Justice Center and Governmental Center, air separators, and expansion tanks as required for individual 4-pipe systems. Remove Governmental Center Chiller and replace unit with multiple units offering some system redundancy. Provide concrete pads at grade at new chiller unit locations. Provide water piping and pumping as required for installation of the chillers. Provide controls for the Criminal Justice Center and Governmental Center boiler and chiller plants and include these controls on existing BAS system including graphics, status of boilers and chillers, temperature sensors and pump status/control (including differential pressure controls for building pumps). Miscellaneous electrical work associated with the new equipment. Commissioning, testing, balancing and chemical treatment of hydronic systems.
