The project involves removing and replacing the existing sodium hypochlorite storage tank, foundation, and appurtenances, and installing a temporary bypass system to maintain plant operations during construction. The tank replacement will enhance operational flexibility and extend the overall service life of the system . All work must be completed within 410 calendar days. The District's Engineer's Estimate for the construction contract including the temporary tank bypass, FRP tank manufacturing and delivery, tank installation, and piping reconnections, is approximately $300,000.
