Description

Site work for a civil project in Waynesville, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and water / sewer project.

Project consists of replacing an existing 12-inch sanitary sewer aerial crossing and pipe bridge which was destroyed during the flood in Hurricane Helene. Replace with a new 12-inch DIP sanitary sewer piping secured with a new galvanized steel pipe bridge crossing Johnathan Creek along the east bound lane of Highway 276 in Maggie Valley, North Carolina. Pipe bridge structural drawings, specifications and shop drawing submittal procedures are included in the drawing package. Streambank and channel stabilization work will be required for this project, and includes rock cross vanes, bolder toe, and geo-lifts. This Project is funded in part by a North Carolina Department of Commerce Small Business Infrastructure Grant. Bids may be submitted by mail or courier. While there is an option to attend the Bid Opening virtually, hardcopy bids are still required to be received.
