Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Dearborn, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

Reference Number 0000430383 Question Acceptance Deadline 07/30/2026 01:00 PM EDT - Questions are submitted online -Contact Jay Andrews jandrews@dearborn.gov Renovation of approximately 1,950 feet of utility tunnels linking the Powerhouse to the Ford Community & Performing Arts Center, the Police Department and the Centennial Library. Proposals are being solicited for the Restoration of Utility Tunnels at the City of Dearborn Powerhouse, located at 16001 Reckinger Road, and its supporting campus buildings. Bonds: 100% Performance Bond, 100% Payment Bond. The successful Concrete Restoration Company to provide all construction management to execute all construction including by not limited equipment, manpower and tooling and materials for proposed Restoration of Utility Tunnels. Verification of all site conditions, drawings (if available), specification and content and any errorsomissions and to notify for clarifications. Restoration Concrete Contractors Responsibilities including but not limited to: All Insurance and documentation Obtain all permitting requirements and fees. All Warranties All Commissioning Presentation meeting outlining work, means and methods and review of project, pricing, scheduling. All Site-Specific Safety Plans (Safety Policies), OSHA/MIOSHA regulations. Providing all contractors-subcontractor information (rosters, makeup of company, company credentials, all cost values, scopes of work executed in the past 3-5 years showing performance- project lists, photos, display of quality of work, contacts-references at contractor interview process. Complete management of project-office support (designated PM/ Project Engineer Administration, AIA payment and approved processes etc. and site management as required and all skilled trades workers ( all scheduling- milestone, detailed schedule/s, 2- and 4-week lookahead schedules, weekly meetings or bi-weekly or specialized meetings as per requirements as the project demands by DPW, citydesignees, AE or PE's ( if designated for this project) /office support-PM , Administration, Safety, AIA billing process etc.. All work properly scheduled with no lapses or gaps. Provide all submittals and all product data and materials, MSDS sheets. per design drawings, submittals, all defined costing break downs and fees. o RFP interview process review meeting, presentation (ability to possible taking bid options of Dearborn's subcontractor list for consideration), ability to negotiate. Define execution and means and methods. All daily/weekly cleanup to not affect the property, site, building and contractors safety and performance. All Quality Control and approval by the City of Dearborn and or their designees . All means and methods for each segment of work All submittals (and approvals if/as required) Value Engineering Constructability Solutions Temporary road barricades/ cones, signage as required , as locations may require near Dearborn's loop/service roads at Vaults/MH- manhole accesses to tunnels. All temporary protection and boarding for construction access to buildings and secured door systems/ city properties of assets. oAll temporary facilities . All construction and temporary signage. All project related notifications in a timely manner All pre-punch lists, punch lists, closeout documentation ( including commissioning) Main Elements: All Management-office and field , Planning, Schedule Adherence, Quality, Safety, Means and Methods. All Abatement- if or as required. All verification of locations of water infiltration (and if required water testing for infiltration locations) All Cutting of concrete or associated masonry, corrugated spiral duct banks or concrete formed tunnels, removal , all forming of new concrete, rebar, pinning in the process of concrete restoration. All Sealants (If Site Work-restoration of landscape and paving) All Demolition All Temporary Protection oAll Temporary Power and Lighting All Air Monitoring in confined spaces All Rigging/Hoisting All Sealing of existing access hatches at Manhole/ Vaults and sources of water infiltration and or new gasketing, repairs/replacement to hatch components as required All removal of insulation and replacement (if or as included in contract) All electrical- replacement of lighting conduits (if or as included in contract) All Welding/ replacement of cross over stairs ( if included in contract) All required trenches cuts to sumps to convey/drain water in or around main Manholes Accesses /Vaults
