The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, mobilization and demobilization, installation and maintenance of floating turbidity barriers necessary to support the corrective repairs associated with the deficiencies identified in the FDOT Point Inspection Report, repair and adjustment of the elevator wheel assembly, replacement of the center (pivot) bearing, removal and replacement of the manual drive shaft bronze journal , reinforcement of the balance wheel track and support ring affected by corrosion, and removal and replacement of the machinery platform around the center pivot pier. The work shall further include sidewalk joint seal repairs, concrete sidewalk restoration, guardrail and hardware repairs, vegetation and debris removal, final verification and corrective resolution of the deficiencies identified in the FDOT Point Inspection Report, operational testing of the swing bridge, alignment verification , final inspections, and complete closeout documentation including as-built drawings and warranty documents. The Contractor shall coordinate bridge closures and marine traffic, and furnish all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the corrective repairs associated with the deficiencies identified in the FDOT Point Inspection Report, in accordance with applicable City, County, and State requirements. The project includes, but is not limited to, the following tasks : elevator wheel assembly repair; center (pivot) bearing replacement; bronze journal replacement ; balance wheel track reinforcement; machinery platform replacement ; sidewalk joints, guardrail hardware , and concrete restoration; and vegetation and debris removal.
