This 1895 mill is an important historic resource of the area and a priority preservation project for the community. The proposed scope of work addresses driveway, entrance, and west wing interior floor rehabilitation and construction of 8 moveable benches. The Paris Mill is one of the few intact mills remaining from this era in Colorado due to its extensive machinery, engineered systems, structural elements and architectural aspects. Scope of Work 1. Main Entrance Rehabilitation a. Construct exterior stairs with railroad ties (or equivalent) and road base (or equivalent) to provide a safe and aesthetically pleasing entrance to the building 3. West Wing Floor Rehabilitation a. Apply compactible road base to the approximately 1200 sq ft dirt floor in the west wing of the mill building b. Construct a stable base for hanging equipment on the west wing floor 4. Moveable Benches a.
