Description

Site work and paving for a transportation facility in Memphis, Tennessee. Completed plans call for paving for a transportation facility; and for site work for a transportation facility.

Construction of two asphalt wedges to provide transition to existing concrete drive aprons at the bus wash facility. Questions may be emailed to abest@matatransit.com. The Memphis Area Transit Authority (MATA) is seeking Contractors to provide Asphalt Repair Services. Services will take place at MATA's Service Building located at 1370 Levee Road, Memphis , TN 38108. This project consists of constructing two asphalt wedges to provide smooth transition to the existing concrete drive aprons on each sides of the MATA bus wash facility. The apron s currently sits approximately 5" above the asphalt approaches. This is to be accomplished by cold-planning the areas to a depth of 1 1/4 ", then applying a tack coat and placing a hot-mix asphalt meeting specification for TDOT ACS Mix (PG64-22) Grading E in compacted lifts not exceeding 3" per lift.
