Question Deadline 07/29/2026 at 1:00 PM MT Questions shall be submitted through our online solicitation system 1.0 PURPOSE /SCOPE: Salt Lake County Contracts and Procurement, on behalf of the Mountain America Exposition Center, invites your company to bid on the removal and replacement of the large water softener which supplies all domestic water to the facility. Contractor will be responsible for the following: Shutdown and drain building water supply riser. Demo and disposal of existing softener tanks and associated piping and valves. Demo overhead piping near softener and move the 4" soft water bypass up against the wall for softener piping replacement and provide sufficient clearance to remove existing tanks. Provide and install water softener supply manifold and drain lin New brine tank will still have a sock for salt filling. Utilize pre-fab piping so building water is only off for a day. Softener startup and activation Electrical Subcontractor to install 3 GFCI protected outlets for each control valve. Turn water back on to the building and bleed air from fixtures. Specifications: Brand new water softener equipment (new brine tank will still have sock for salt filling)o Freight and service agreement o Softener startup 4" water manifold with 2" branch lines to each of the 3 tanks with a bypass for each tank (Piped per the WCC installation diagram for the Triplex system) 4" manifold to run along the wall and tie into the new bypass installed during the demo phase of the project. Each tank will have isolation valves and unions for service.
