Renovation of an educational facility in Greensboro, North Carolina. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
For furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary for the Dudley High School Auditorium Renovation & Roof Replacement project. Project Description The project consists of targeted improvements to the existing school auditorium, including building envelope repairs and interior renovations within designated areas. The work includes replacement of the existing roofing system over the auditorium to improve weather resistance and long-term performance, replacement of existing windows serving the auditorium to enhance energy efficiency, occupant comfort, and resistance to air and water infiltration while maintaining compatibility with the existing building façade, lighting upgrades to improve illumination quality, energy efficiency, and functionality, and stage and flooring repairs to address existing wear, improve safety, and support continued use of the auditorium and stage areas. The project will be awarded as a Single Prime Contract. Substantial Completion shall be achieved no later than August 20, 2027. Question Deadline 08/07/2026 at 5:00 PM ET Questions regarding the bidding documents shall be submitted in writing via email to Garrett Spears at gspears@keiarchitects.com. All questions must be received. Responses to questions will be issued by Wednesday, August 12, 2026, in the form of an addendum, if required. Bidders must be properly licensed for the work in accordance with Section 87 of the North Carolina General Statutes. A 5% Bid Bond and 100% Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds are required for this project. No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids for a period of 60 days. E-Verify Requirements: This project requires the awarded vendor to comply with the requirements of E-Verify. (U.S. law requiring companies to employ only individuals who may legally work in the United States - either U.S. citizens, or foreign citizens who have the necessary authorization.) The Guilford County Board of Education awards public contracts without regard to race, religion, color, creed, national origin, sex, age or handicapped condition as defined by North Carolina General Statutes, Section 168A-3. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids presented and to waive any informalities and irregularities.
