Demolition, site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Newberry, South Carolina. Completed plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project; for the demolition of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
Installation of a new pump station to replace the existing station. Scope includes a new pre-cast concrete wetwell, duplex suction lift pumps and controls, a new control building, a diesel bypass pump, a dual auger screen, approximately 254 LF of 12-inch gravity sewer, approximately 133 LF of 12-inch forcemain, electrical work, site grading, and demolition of the existing pump station. Questions regarding the bid are to be submitted before 5:00 PM local time on August 14th, 2026. The project generally consists of the following: Clearing and grubbing of the new pump station site. o Associated site work and grading. o Installation of a new 900 GPM duplex self-priming centrifugal pump station and associated valves and piping. Installation of a new standby diesel bypass pump system. o Approximately 254 LF of new 12-inch gravity sewer o Approximately 133 LF of new 12-inch forcemain with associated valves and fittings. o Demolition of the existing pump station. Pump control building, new electrical service, and associated electrical work. o HVAC system and SCADA / Instrumentation. o Installation of a new dual auger screen and compactor. o Installation, maintenance, and removal of sediment and erosion control facilities. o All related items required for a complete installation.
