Site work for a water / sewer project in Wadley, Georgia. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
This project includes a new water well to replace the existing one and serve as a backup, a filtration system, and a backup power generator (including for the existing well). A telemetry system for the three wells is included to improve resiliency. The scope of work includes providing and installing backup power generators, including automatic transfer switch, automatic starter, and fuel system (including the fuel tank). The telemetry system will provide real-time monitoring of pump status, fuel levels, runtimes, high-water alarms, and power status, transmitting data to the City's central public works office and to designated personnel via mobile alerts. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. Requests for proposals for design services is underway.
