Demolition for a development in Beavercreek, Oregon. Completed plans call for the demolition of a development.

2 p.m. Thursday, August 13, 2026. If required, subcontractor disclosure forms must be submitted no later than 4 p.m. on August 13, 2026 Demolition and removal of the Abel Thomas Barn and adjacent infrastructure at the Conservation Resource Center property. The contractor shall perform the following tasks: 1.1 Pre-Demolition Activities. " Conduct a site visit and field verification. Review available site plans and utility information. Identify and protect facilities and infrastructure designated to remain. Coordinate utility disconnections as required. Obtain all permits necessary for demolition activities unless otherwise specified. Submit demolition work plan and schedule for approval. 1.2 Hazardous Materials Assessment. Verify whether asbestos-containing materials (ACM), lead-based paint, petroleum products, chemicals, or other hazardous materials are present. Coordinate testing and reporting Remove and dispose of hazardous materials in accordance with applicable regulations before demolition activities commence. 1.3 Demolition Work. Demolish the entire barn structure, including: Roof system Exterior and interior walls Structural framing Foundations and slabs (if specified) Attached sheds, lean-tos, and ancillary structures Remove all asphalt and concrete from the areas within the demolition boundary, leaving only bare earth. Remove all debris from the site. Control dust, noise, and debris during demolition operations. Prevent damage to adjacent structures, utilities, vegetation, roadways, and facilities. 1.4 Material Handling and Disposal. Segregate recyclable materials where feasible. Transport and dispose of demolition debris at approved disposal facilities. Provide disposal manifests, weight tickets, and recycling documentation upon request. Contractor may assume ownership of any salvageable materials not expressly retained by CSWCD per item 5. 1.5 Site Restoration. Following demolition, the contractor shall: Remove all debris and unsuitable materials. Backfill and compact excavated areas with approved fill material . Grade disturbed areas to match surrounding contours. Establish positive drainage. " Seed and mulch disturbed areas. Leave the site in a safe, clean, and stable condition. 2. Contractor Responsibilities. Provide qualified personnel and competent supervision. Supply all equipment, tools, temporary facilities, and safety devices. o Maintain site security during construction activities. o Comply with all applicable occupational safety requirements. o Coordinate work to minimize disruption to public access and government operations. 3. Safety Requirements. Prepare and implement a Site-Specific Health and Safety Plan. Conduct daily safety inspections Maintain emergency response procedures. Provide traffic control measures as necessary. Ensure compliance with applicable safety regulations. 4. Environmental Requirements. Establish an agreed upon equipment staging area. Implement dust suppression measures. Prevent runoff and erosion. Protect nearby water resources, wetlands, and sensitive habitats. Properly manage fuels, lubricants, and hazardous substances. Comply with all environmental regulations and permit requirements. 5. Owner-Retained Items. Before commencing demolition, the contractor shall provide to CSWCD the following items in the condition they were in before commencement of demolition, which shall remain the property of CSWCD: Weathervane from north roof peak Hay trolley from barn interior Barn quilt and 50th Anniversary sign from north face of barn Exterior light fixture on west facing side of barn above sliding doors CSWCD may retain a small amount of barn wood for small commemorative projects honoring the barn Question Deadline 08/06/2026 at 2:00 PM PT Technical questions regarding the project, or requests for clarification or change, should be directed to Jason Faucera at jfaucera@conservationdistrict.org, or (503) 210-6013
