Description

Site work and paving for a civil project in Marietta, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; water / sewer project; and for paving for a road / highway.

Barrett Parkway at Burnt Hickory Road This is a road intersection construction project involving converting Barrett Parkway at Burnt Hickory Road into a Median U-Turn (MUT) intersection utilizing existing median openings. May require Georgia Utility Contractor License for water/sewer work and GDOT bid qualifications. Project consists of converting the intersection of Barrett Parkway at Burnt Hickory Road into a Median U-Turn (MUT) intersection, utilizing the existing median openings north and south of the intersection to accommodate U-turn movements. The time allowed for performance of the project will be 450 from the Notice to Proceed. Liquidated damages of $2,000.00 per consecutive calendar day shall be assessed for failure to complete the project within the specified time frames. Question Deadline 08/07/2026 Any questions must be received by Cobb County Procurement Services the Friday prior to the bid opening. All questions should be sent via email to ProcurementServices@CobbCounty.gov The Cobb County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject all bids and to waive formalities. Any claims for cost incurred by any Bidder in preparation of any part of or total package for this project will not be considered for reimbursement by Cobb County.
