Each curb ramp shall include: Maximum running slope of 1:12 (8.33%) Maximum cross slope of 2% Flared sides Smooth transitions to adjacent sidewalks and pavement Broom finish perpendicular to the direction of travel Proper drainage to prevent water ponding Detectable Warning Mats Provide and install ADA-compliant detectable warning surface panels (truncated dome mats) at each curb ramp. Requirements: Two (2) detectable warning mats, one at each ADA ramp. Panels shall extend the full width of the ramp. Minimum depth of 24 inches in the direction of travel. Cast-in-place composite or polymer concrete detectable warning panels (preferred) or approved equal. Color will be picked by Owner. Install in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications and ADA requirements. Panels shall be securely embedded in fresh concrete to create a permanent installation.
