Question Deadline 08/04/2026 at 4:00 PM ET Questions regarding this RFP shall be submitted in writing to the Marquette County Planning Division. The purpose of this project is to improve visitor safety and preserve the rustic character of Perkins Park & Campground by replacing deteriorated split-rail fencing and obsolete guardrail with a new cedar split-rail fence. The successful contractor shall provide a complete, turnkey installation, including permitting/zoning, contacting MISS DIG, demolition, disposal, material procurement, installation, cleanup, and restoration of disturbed areas. Marquette County is requesting sealed proposals from qualified contractors to furnish all labor, supervision, equipment, materials , transportation , disposal, and incidentals necessary to repair 400 of split rail fencing, and remove existing fencing and guardrail and install approximately 600 linear feet of new cedar split- rail fencing at Perkins Park & Campground in Big Bay, Michigan. Removal of existing fencing and guardrail, and installation of approximately 600 linear feet of new cedar split-rail fencing, along with repair of 400 linear feet of existing split-rail fencing.
