Site work and new construction of a road / highway in Washington, Utah. Completed plans call for the construction of a road / highway; and for site work for a road / highway.
Construct George Washington Blvd from the Virgin River Bridge to River Road. The Project consists of constructing approximately 5,300 linear feet of the George Washington Parkway, connecting River Road on the east end to the new bridge currently under construction on the west end . The roadway pavement will accommodate two travel lanes in each direction, plus turn lanes as indicated on the Project Improvement Plans . The Project will also include the construction of new underground utilities, the re-routing of existing utilities, and the re-alignment of the existing pedestrian/bicycle trail . The pedestrian/bicycle trail will include construction of a new crossing over the George Washington Parkway and placement of a pre-fabricated bridge (bridge to be purchased separately by the CITY).
