**As of October 23, 2026, the owner has determined a prequalified list of general contractors. A timeline for construction has not yet been established.** The purpose of this Request for Pre-Qualification (RFPQ) is to invite interested parties to submit Responses indicating their interest in, and qualifications for, becoming pre-qualified to participate in future procurement processes for Electrical Prime Contractor and/or Sub-Contractor Services for projects carried out by IH. IH's objective is to create a list of firms that are pre-qualified for Electrical Prime Contractor and/or Sub-Contractor Services in connection with Acute Care and/or Non-Acute Care projects. Projects will be located within the four (4) local health areas (Okanagan, Thompson/Cariboo/Shuswap, Kootenay Boundary and East Kootenay). Future competitive bids may be for projects budgeted between $200,000 - $1,000,000, $1,000,000 - $5,000,000 and over $5,000,000.
