The work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary to rehabilitate the existing concrete marginal wharf at National City Marine Terminal (NCMT) Berth 24-11 and to reinstall the existing shore power system, as shown on the Contract Drawings and specified herein. The Work includes demolition and removal of portions of the existing concrete deck, pile caps, and appurtenances, construction of a new reinforced concrete deck, repair of existing piles, installation of pile jackets, and replacement of waterfront elements, including bull rails, wale systems, and mooring hardware such as bollards. Electrical work includes removal , relocation, and reinstallation of the existing shore power system and associated infrastructure, including conduits, manholes, and appurtenances, along with complete testing and commissioning of the system as a fully operational installation. The Work also includes installation and replacement of utilities and site improvements, including potable water, stormwater, drainage, pavement replacement, and utility potholing. Additional work includes excavation , backfill , dewatering, demolition, hauling, disposal, and temporary work necessary to complete the Project. The Contractor shall coordinate all work to maintain terminal operations and minimize impacts to tenants and vessel activity. All Work shall comply with applicable environmental requirements, including in-water work restrictions, turbidity control , monitoring, and seasonal limitations. This Project is partially funded by a federal grant administered by the Maritime Administration (MARAD) and is subject to applicable federal requirements, including Buy America/Build America (BABA) provisions.
