(1) The Project is to: Base bid to include one of the following manufactured rubber playground tiles (95% colors from all manufacturers): Sterling Playground Tile Premium 95% Series SofSafe Premium 95% Series PlayGuard Safety Surfacing 95% Series DuraSafe Premium 95% Series Remove existing playground surfacing Prepare subgrade per manufacturers playground tile specifications; Class II compacted base and/or concrete base ill be acceptable but playground tile system must be installed as a whole and include any and all manufacturer required elements to function as a whole system . Raise drains if applicable Installation to follow the manufacturers rubber playground tile specification Contractor to comply with local, state and/or provincial regulations including ASTM standards for concrete finishing requirements ( if applicable) which may or may not include Question Deadline 07/30/2026 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents are to be directed in writing to the District.
