The San Diego County Water Authority is seeking proposals from qualified firms to conduct an evaluation of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) in Olivenhain Reservoir. The work includes providing recommendations for short-term and long-term operational strategies to reduce PFAS concentration levels, either through blending or water treatment. Firms should address the approach to evaluation and propose strategies for mitigation in their proposals. Official bid documents must be obtained online. All questions regarding the RFP shall be submitted in writing by emailing Diana Lizarraga, Senior Management Analyst, at as soon as possible, but no later than 5:00 p.m. on August 3, 2026. An addendum may be issued stating the questions and answers.
