Site work for a civil project in Dows, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.
Work shall generally consist of 49,500 CY of excavation, drainage pump station and controls, 1,400 LF of 10" diameter fusible HDPE force main, 1,500 LF of single wall HDPE ranging in size between 8" to 15", fabrication of a manifold flow control system, related work items, and all incidentals required to complete the project. The work is located approximately 3 miles east of Dows on 100th Street in Franklin County, Iowa. Time for Commencement and Completion of Work. Work on the improvement shall commence upon approval of the contract by the ISU Committee for Agricultural Development, and as stated in the Notice to Proceed. All work under the Contract must be completed, per Iowa Code Section 468.101, no later than August 27, 2027. Damages in the amount of $200.00 per day will be assessed for each day the work remains incomplete.
