Palos Fire Protection District is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to provide labor, materials, and equipment necessary to install an epoxy flooring system at the facility located at: Project Location: 8815 W. 123rd St. Palos Park, IL 60464 The intent of this project is to install a durable, slip-resistant, high-performance epoxy flooring system designed for heavy traffic, chemical resistance, and long-term durability. 2. Project Scope of Work The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and supervision required to complete the epoxy flooring installation, including, but not limited to: Surface Preparation o o o Mechanical grinding or shot blasting of existing concrete surface Removal of contaminants , coatings, grease, or debris Crack and joint repair where necessary Moisture testing of concrete substrate Epoxy Flooring Installation Application of epoxy primer Application of base coat Optional broadcast of aggregate or decorative flakes (if specified) Application of topcoat or clear protective coat Installation of slip-resistant additives where required 3.
