Question Deadline 07/27/2026 at 2:00 PM PT , Question submitted Electronically contractors on the District's Qualified Bidders List for the Fire Station 67 Construction project (Project). The Project includes the construction of a 10,148 SF one-story fire station with three (3) apparatus bays and eight (8) dormitories, a storage/truck wash building, emergency standby generator, civil and utility sitework, and other related items, developed on a 4.77-acre site located at 8101 Bradshaw Road, Sacramento, California. The construction of the Project will be completed under a public works contract administered by the District with assistance from the District's Architect of Record (COAR Design Group) and Construction Manager (Kitchell CEM ) in accordance with a strict schedule whereby time is of the essence . The District intends to award the contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder WORK COVERED BY CONTRACT DOCUMENTS A. Work of this Contract comprises work for the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District: construction of a new Fire Station Building along with related sitework. B. The Project is located at 8101 Bradshaw Road, Sacramento, CA 95829 as shown on the Contract Drawings prepared by COAR Design Group. C. Construction shall be in accordance with the California Building Code, current adopted edition, and all local codes and ordinances, such as noted below, are made a part of these Specifications. 1. The Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction (2024) commonly referred to as the "Green Book" (excluding Sections 1-9). 2. Current Standard Drawings of the City and County of Sacramento. 3. Current Regional Standard Drawings, California Department of Transportation (CalTrans) Standard Plans (2025). 4. State of California Manual of Traffic Controls (2026) are made a part of these Specifications.
