The Contra Costa County Public Works is requesting proposals for the replacement of three existing Panelfold accordion doors with high-quality commercial accordion doors from Woodfold or Modernfold, or an approved equal meeting identical specifications. Official bid documents must be obtained online. Question Deadline 08/04/2026 at 3:00 PM PT The County's objectives for this project include, but are not limited to, the following: Replace three (3) existing Panelfold accordion doors that have reached the end of their useful service life. Improve the functionality, appearance, and long-term reliability of the movable partition systems. Restore effective acoustic separation between divided spaces through the installation of commercial-grade acoustic accordion doors. Minimize disruption to County operations by providing efficient project coordination and installation. Ensure all work is performed in accordance with manufacturer recommendations, applicable building codes, and industry best practices. o Provide a complete turnkey installation, including removal and lawful disposal of existing materials, delivery of new equipment, installation, testing, adjustments, and final project close-out. Select a contractor with demonstrated experience installing commercial accordion door systems and the technical capability to successfully complete the project.
