Pond dredging at the Buena Vista Golf Course. Bonds: 5% Bid Bond, Certified Check required. The project is located within the Buena Vista Golf Course (DeKalb Park District), the City of DeKalb, in DeKalb County. The Buena Vista GOLF COURSE pond is approximately 1.0 acre in size and has a main heart shape with a long channel area. The pond is a primary storage area used as an irrigation source and is surrounded by trees and turf grass. The project will include but not be limited to various tasks such as the removal of submerged pond sediment (may consist of organic / non-organic material) via hydraulic dredging either by boat or diver (or other approved mechanical removal method), dewatering, silt containers, pump station cleaning/suctioning, irrigation intake pipe cleaning/flushing, cleaning or replacement of intake pipe strainer, erosion control measures, hauling and/or disposal of unwanted or contaminated material, tree or vegetation removal , safety signage and fencing/blockades, topsoil, landscape and turf restoration, and any other related work or miscellaneous general conditions to complete the project as described herein. Owner will be responsible for disposal of dewatered materials and related equipment.
