Maintenance overlay paving project consisting of street resurfacing operations. Question Deadline 08/03/2026 All final questions concerning the contract documents and the work contained therein must be submitted in writing to Jake Scarpino through email at jscarpino@brooklinema.gov The scope of work includes two types of roadway resurfacing: a 2-inch mill and overlay, and a 1.5- in maintenance overlay. The mill and overlay consist of a full-width pavement milling to a depth of 2 inches, followed by the placement of a 2-inch hot mix asphalt surface course. The maintenance overlay involves milling the gutter area to a depth of 1.5 inches for a width of 8 feet along each curb line, with a 1.5-inch hot mix asphalt overlay placed over the full roadway width to improve surface conditions. Additional work includes the adjustment of utility structures (such as manholes and catch basins), installation of pavement markings , minor drainage improvements, and other miscellaneous and incidental work required to complete the project as shown as described herein. Bonds: 5% Bid Bond, Certified Check required, 100% Performance Bond, 100% Payment Bond.
