36C24626B0039_0002 Provide chilled water from the existing primary chiller in Building 31 to serve Buildings 42 (Hospice/Audiology) and 43, creating a common chilled-water system while bypassing the existing chillers in Buildings 42 and 43 during normal operation. Work includes installation of new 4-inch chilled-water supply and return piping between Buildings 31 and 43, additional pumps in Building 42 to serve the 2-inch chilled-water line to Audiology, emergency backup chilled-water connections (quick-connect ports at Building 42 and a bolted flange connection at Building 43), replacement and installation of valves and actuators, and integration of all controls with the Building Management System (BMS) for automatic mode selection, alarms, remote monitoring, and interlocks. The project also includes piping insulation, hydronic balancing, glycol management, testing, flushing, chemical cleaning, water treatment verification, commissioning, controls programming, electrical power and controls wiring, communications infrastructure, trenching or directional boring, site restoration, housekeeping pads, concrete penetrations and repairs, utility coordination, infection control measures, environmental protection, construction waste management, quality control, safety compliance, training, as-built documentation, and final turnover. Work shall be completed within 365 days and includes a one-year warranty on all installed components and systems. Estimated construction magnitude is between $2,000,000 and $5,000,000.
