Demolition of existing fire pump equipment; installation of new fire pump, jockey pump, controllers, piping, valves, test header, electrical service, fire alarm monitoring, and all associated mechanical and electrical work for a fire protection system. Deadline to submit Questions Aug 10th 2026, 2:00 PM EDT Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents via Online Portal. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. The project includes the complete replacement of the existing fire pump system serving Berks Hall at Reading Area Community College. Work includes demolition of the existing fire pump equipment; installation of a new fire pump, jockey pump, controllers, piping, valves, test header, electrical service, fire alarm monitoring, and all associated mechanical and electrical work required for a complete, tested, and operational fire protection system . The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, permits, testing, startup, commissioning, and closeout documentation required for a complete installation in accordance with NFPA 20, NEC, and all applicable federal, state, and local codes
