The project generally includes replacement of ten (10) existing bridge bearings, installation of steel bearing stiffeners and associated structural steel repairs, replacement of deck expansion joints, localized cleaning and painting of structural steel in the repair areas, and implementation of temporary maintenance and protection of traffic. The plans include the locations and details necessary to complete the repairs while maintaining the structural integrity and serviceability of the bridge.
