Description

Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Bowie, Maryland. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a 400-unit multi-residential development; clubhouse / community center; and retail development.

Maryland and Prince George's County officials selected Gragg Cardona Souadi, through BSU MARC Community Partners LLC, as master developer for a large-scale transit-oriented mixed-use redevelopment surrounding the Bowie State MARC Station adjacent to Bowie State University. The project encompasses approximately 93 acres of county-owned land, with additional nearby development parcels led by Mosaic Development Partners and Campus Apartments. Plans include more than 400 housing units, transit-supportive mixed-use development, infrastructure improvements, and related community amenities. Development partner selections were announced on July 21, 2026, and construction is anticipated following planning, entitlement, and design activities.
