The work under the Contract consists of: 1. Air sealing of existing two-story town-house style buildings at attics and basement. 2. At at attics, remove all existing insulation, treat framing with mold and fungi inhibitor, airseal top of ceiling with closed-cell spray foam and apply a 16" layer of blown-in cellulose. Additional air sealing measures at plumbing chases. At basements, air sealing at concrete wall to wood framing transitions with closed -cell spray foam . Installation of mineral wool batt- insulation as ignition barrier. Additional insulation work at plumbing chases. Under Alternate 1, at building exteriors installation of a 'frost-skirt' made of rigid foam board insulation. All Work either shown on the drawings or included in the specifications unless specifically indicated as not to be done. B. In addition, the Work under the Contract includes: Work outside the project site as called for in the Contract Documents and as required for the performance of the Work. The restoration of any items damaged or destroyed by encroaching upon areas outside of the project site. 3. Providing and restoring, where appropriate, all temporary facilities Bonds: 5% Bid Bond. Set-asides: 9% MBE, 11% WBE. Question Deadline 08/12/2026 Bidders requiring clarification or interpretation of the Contract Documents shall make a written request to the Architect. The Architect will answer such requests if received seven (7) calendar days before the date for receipt of the bids.
