This RFP is being issued by the Purchaser North York General Hospital to obtain Proposals for construction/renovation services related to Switchboard #3 Replacement from interested suppliers. Mohawk Medbuy Corporation ("MMC") is representing the Purchaser as its Bid Administrator The Switchboard #3 replacement project occurs on the ground of North York General Hospital - Main electrical room, electrical Room 7 and electrical Room 7N. o 1.2 The work will involve demolition of the existing switchboard, supplying and installing new switchboard , distribution panel , busduct, conduit and wiring. o Existing busduct, cable, boxes, etc. to be removed where indicated , remaining to make good. The switchboard is essential power. If electricity shutdowns would be required, that must be fully coordinated with the Hospital, the consultant, and ESA as applicable. A backup generator for full backup of Switchboard #3 will be provided for the duration of the entire project. The work will include miscellaneous general work - double door for switchboard back access, housekeeping pads, cutting and patching and fire stopping of rated partitions.
