The City of Georgetown is seeking quotes from qualified and licensed general contractors to perform laydown yard improvements at the City of Georgetown Municipal Complex located on Duke Street behind the property at 2520 Highmarket Street. The purpose of this project is to improve designated yard areas for the staging, storage, and operation of heavy commercial equipment, vehicles, materials, and supplies used in Public Works operations. The contractor shall be responsible to setup proper traffic control devices in compliance with SCDOT standards for the protection of workers and vehicular traffic at the site entrance. Contractor shall comply with all applicable OSHA construction standards. The contractor shall work during regular daytime hours (7 AM to 5 PM). Contractor shall be responsible for providing all materials, labor, tools, and equipment necessary for the completion of the project. Contractor shall be responsible for the cost of hauling any excess aggregate materials from the job site.
