Installation of new underground pre-placed crypts and associated site improvements. Bonds: Certified Check required, 5% Bid Bond, 100% Performance Bond, 100% Payment Bond. Project no- 64E-0013 Improvements are planned for the existing Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery located at 164 Long Plant Farm Road in Goldsboro, North Carolina. The planned improvements will consist of the construction of in -ground pre-cast concrete burial crypts on the northwest portion of the project site (see attached Site Vicinity Map, Figure No. 1 ) . The area where the improvements are proposed is currently relatively flat and grass-covered. Based on Wayne County GIS topographic information, existing grades in the area currently range from about 111 to 114 feet. The bottom of the crypts will be about 7 feet below finished grade, underlain by an underdrain consisting of 6 inches of washed stone with perforated drainage pipe at 60-feet on center within the stone. Approximately 8 to 9 feet of fill will be placed to raise the site and allow the underdrain system to daylight.
