The Town of Hardwick is soliciting bids from qualified contractors for the NRCS Emergency Watershed Protection (EWP) Bank Stabilization Project. The project includes bank stabilization work at three locations within the Town of Hardwick along Cooper Brook and the Lamoille River. Work consists of streambank stabilization and associated restoration activities intended to protect public infrastructure and reduce future erosion following recent flood events. Questions regarding the project must be submitted by Monday, August 10, 2026. Questions regarding the project must be submitted. Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to david.upson@hardwickvt.gov or wdavis@verdantas.com . Notice of Award: Friday August 21, 2026 If the total bid amount is greater than $250,000, the successful bidder shall furnish a Performance Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price and a Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price. A Bid Guarantee equal to 5% of the bid price shall accompany each bid The Project includes the following Work: Bank stabilizations at three sites within the Town of Hardwick, including work within banks Cooper Brook and the Lamoille River.
