Renovation of the flooring system within the Dietetics Department, including replacement of the existing flooring with a Sherwin-Williams Poly-Crete SLB seamless cementitious urethane flooring system and installation of a 6-inch integral cove base. Work includes all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and incidentals necessary to complete the project. The contractor shall conduct site verification, field measurements, project coordination, infection control planning, dust mitigation, and provide containment and negative air equipment throughout construction. The contractor shall disconnect, remove, relocate, reinstall, and reconnect kitchen equipment required for flooring installation, including commercial ovens, steam kettles, dishwashers, prep tables, refrigeration equipment, ice machines, food service carts, sinks, serving line equipment, and other identified kitchen equipment. The contractor shall protect equipment during relocation, verify proper operation following reinstallation, and repair or replace any equipment damaged during the process. Work includes removal of existing floor coatings as necessary, concrete substrate preparation, moisture testing, installation of the Poly-Crete SLB flooring system, quality control inspections, maintenance of safe and clean work areas, final punch-list corrections, and operational verification of all reinstalled equipment. Deliverables include the completed flooring system, integral cove base, fully operational kitchen equipment, warranty documentation, maintenance recommendations, product data sheets, and a final inspection report.
