Installation of water main infrastructure. THIS PROJECT GENERALLY CONSISTS OF THE CONSTRUCTION OF APPROXIMATELY 6,080 LINEAR FEET OF NEW 24-INCH WATER MAIN FROM THE PRIVATE PROPERTY OF THE ENON ROAD WATER TANK PROPERTY LOCATED NEAR THE INTERSECTION OF ENON ROAD AND HULLS CHAPEL ROAD, CROSSING UNDER ENON ROAD. THE TOTAL LINEAR UTILITY PROJECT DISTURBED AREA IS APPROXIMATELY 8.10 ACRES. Project Scope: Contractor shall furnish and install approximately 6,250 LF of new 24 - inch water main connecting the new elevated Enon Road Tank to a connection near Centreport Village (hereinafter referred to as the Project). Appurtenant work shall include valves, fire and flushing hydrants, air release valves and vacuum appurtenances, interconnections and all associated clearing, site access, including access roads, erosion control, restoration as well as all other miscellaneous work as described in the Contract Documents, Specifications and Drawings. B. Work included: Contractor shall furnish all labor, superintendence, materials, plant, power, light, heat, fuel, water (except for initial pressure testing and disinfection), tools, appliances, equipment, supplies, and other means of construction necessary or proper for performing and completing the above described Work (herein the Work). Contractor shall obtain and pay for all required permits, except those listed in Section 01410, which will be obtained by the Owner. Contractor shall protect the Work during construction and perform and complete the Work in a manner consistent with safety of life and property and in strict accordance with the Contract Documents. Contractor shall clean up and maintain the work site (the Site) during and after construction. Contractor shall repair, restore and clean structures and property that may be damaged or disturbed during the performance of the Work, at no additional cost to the Owner. C. Contractor's Plant and Equipment: Contractor shall be solely responsible for the adequacy of his plant and equipment. D. All references to Sections in this document shall be interpreted as sections of this document, and references to Specifications to those applicable to this project, unless indicated otherwise.
