Renovation of an educational facility in Coralville, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The certified Iowa TSB participation goal for this project is 10 percent (10%) of the Base Bid. Question Deadline 08/05/2026 Each Bidder shall examine the Contract Documents carefully and, not later than seven (7) calendar days prior to the date set for receipt of bids, shall make written request to the Design Professional for interpretation or correction of any ambiguity, inconsistency or error therein which may be discovered. Project Location: Work shall be performed under this Contract on the campus of the University of Iowa at Oakdale Shops Building A, 2350 Crosspark Road, Coralville, IA 52241 . The Constructor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary for, and incidental to, construction of this project as indicated on Drawings dated July 24, 2026. Work shall include everything requisite and necessary to finish work properly, notwithstanding that not every item of labor or materials or accessories required to make project complete may be specifically mentioned. d. General Description of Work 1) Project consists of Replace the existing asphalt shingle roof, roof decking, soffit and fascia, gutters and downspouts, and coordinate the removal of the existing asbestos asphalt shingles with the Owner's abatement contractor. Roof replacement for Oakdale Shops Building A.
