Site work and renovation of a multi-residential development in Honolulu, Hawaii. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 177,053-square-foot, seven-story above grade multi-residential development.

The Work generally consists of modifications to the tankless domestic hot water return ("HWR") system serving the HCDA-owned rental units, including installation of new hot water return piping, associated valves , fittings, supports, insulation, and related components within the P2parking garage level , vertical utility pathways, trash chute/mechanical access rooms, and rooftop domestic hot water equipment areas, all in accordance with the drawings and specifications attached hereto as Exhibits A, B, and C. 2.3.1 PROJECT REQUIREMENTS The Work shall include, but not be limited to, the following: a. Modification of the domestic HWR piping system and associated components in accordance with the plans and specifications referenced herein and attached hereto. b. Coordination with HCDA regarding access, shutdowns, outages, and construction activities. c. Temporary shutdowns and restoration of domestic hot water service as necessary to complete the Work. The Contractor shall minimize service interruptions to occupied residential units to the greatest extent practicable. d. Protection of existing building finishes, common areas , utilities, equipment, and occupied areas during construction. e. Restoration or repair of any existing finishes, walls, ceilings, flooring, piping insulation, or other building components damaged or removed during construction activities. f. Testing, startup, and commissioning of the modified domestic hot water return system . g. Pressure testing, flushing, balancing, and verification of proper circulation and operation of the modified domestic hot water return system. h. Disinfection or chlorination of piping systems where required by applicable code, regulation, or permitting authority. i. Removal of demolished materials, construction debris, excess materials, equipment, packaging, and other waste generated by the Work. All sucmaterials shall be lawfully disposed of off-site by the Contractor. Use of Honuakaha refuse containers, dumpsters, recycling bins, or other waste disposal facilities is prohibited unless expressly authorized in writing by the HCDA. j. Coordination with the HCDA's construction administrator and engineering design consultants, as applicable. k. Compliance with all applicable federal, state, and county laws, regulations, codes, permit requirements, and safety requirements.
