The project consists of a parking lot rehabilitation at 100 Westney Road South, Ajax, including phased construction to maintain continuous site access and operations. The scope includes removal and disposal of existing asphalt, interlock, bollards, and localized unsuitable materials, followed by site grading, base reinstatement, and installation of new asphalt (light/heavy duty and resurfacing). The work also involves drainage improvements, including adjustment and cleaning of catch basins and installation of perforated subdrains around catch basins. In addition , new islands will be installed with interlocking stones to match existing layout along with new tactile walking surface indicators at the depressed curb locations. Scope also involves locally repairing damaged concrete curbs and installing new curbs around the islands. Additional requirements include erosion and sediment control , geotechnical review, utility locates, and restoration of disturbed landscaping, with all work completed in phases while ensuring safe access, protection of existing infrastructure, and full reinstatement of any temporarily impacted features.
