Site work and paving for a civil project in Saint Augustine Beach, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

Scope of Work: Repave the streets identified in the attached map, at the Camp Blanding Joint Training Center. Prior to paving, remove all grass from roadway edges and driveways. All Streets will be milled of existing asphalt to remove all deficient areas. All inspections and testing are the responsibility of the contractor and cost must be included in your bid. Following clean-up an FDOT approved tack product will be applied by use of a heated distributor truck at a rate of 0.10 gallons per square yard. Following the application of the FDOT approved tack product, a leveling course (1st lift, approximately 1 inches) of SP-12.5 hot mix asphalt (maximum 30% RAP) will be placed by spreader and compacted prior to further work. 2nd lift, final paving to consist of 1 1/2 of 12.5 mix per FDOT Standards. There shall be a 2% fall from the centerline of the road to each edge of road. Anywhere the new paving crosses a culvert, the culvert is to be replaced (with like for like), and concrete mitered ends added.
