The project The project provides ADA accessibility upgrades on the first floor of main classroom/cafeteria building. The hallways will be reconfigured to support the path of travel modifications including upgrades to the elevator lobby and entrance to the school's kitchen and cafeteria. This project will replace double doors previously leading to the first floor's hallway exit with a fixed store-front window. Upgrades will also be made to two restrooms to meet ADA requirements. The project provides ADA accessibility upgrades in the Staff Garage Area. The areas in the staff garage will be reconfigured to support the path of travel modifications including upgrades to the elevator lobby and entrance to the school's lower-level entrance. The areas in the staff garage parking lines and parking stops will be removed and reconfigured for the updated ADA accessibility. The Project will provide temporary shoring of the existing deteriorated raised walkway. The scope of work also includes the subsequent removal of the raised walkway. This will also include the removal of the 1st floor west entrance and replace with new store front. The Project will provide new landscape with new irrigation controls. The Bidder will enter into a Construction Contract with the District for a lump-sum, fixed price contract for the construction of the Project. This project is bond funded and is subject to the District's Project Stabilization Agreement (PSA) and prevailing wage requirements. The selection of the successful Bidder for this Project will consist of a scored evaluation process consisting of two steps: Step 1: Contractor Statement of Qualifications; Step 2: Price Bids.
