The City of Cape Coral, Florida will receive Sealed Bids for Invitation to Bid # 2026-ITB-030-JM, North 3 Utilities Extension Project (UEP) Contract 2 - Area 901 & 904 in accordance with the specifications on file. The Work is comprised of the construction of potable water mains, irrigation water mains, sewer force mains, gravity sewer mains, sewer lift stations, storm drain and pipe replacements, restoration, road reconstruction, landscaping, roundabout, bridge modifications, canal crossings, stormwater pond, and other Work displayed or described in the Contract Documents. Question Deadline 08/10/2026 at 2:00 PM ET N No questions will be accepted after deadline and all questions must be submitted through electronically. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, award in whole or in part and to waive any irregularities or informalities when in the best interest of the citizens of the City of Cape Coral. Bidder agrees to achieve Substantial Completion of all utility Work, as defined in Section 01700, within 540 calendar days of Notice to Proceed, as provided in Paragraph 4.01 of the General Conditions (Section 00700). This timeframe includes all Direct Purchase Orders (DPO). Bidder agrees to achieve Final Completion of all Utility Work, as defined in Section 01700, within 660 calendar days of Notice to Proceed. No work is to begin prior to the issuance of a fully executed Purchase Order (PO) and a Notice to Proceed (NTP). Bidder agrees that e Work will be completed and ready for final payment, including Final Asphalt Work, as defined in Section 01700 and in accordance with paragraph 15.06 of the General Conditions, Section 00700, within 720 calendar days of notice to Proceed. It is required that the respondent hold a valid General Contractor's license through the State of Florida to perform the work and have a local competency license and also be registered in the City of Cape Coral. Respondent will attach copies of the documents as proof of qualifications.
