Description

Site work for a water / sewer project in Montague, Prince Edward Island. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

Municipal Pumping Infrastructure Capacity Upgrades: Bridge Lift Station Capacity Upgrades; and Montague Water Booster Station Capacity Upgrades. The projects are intended to address existing and future infrastructure capacity requirements associated with continued residential, commercial, institutional, and industrial growth within the Montague service area. TIMELINE: Request for proposals from engineering consultants is currently underway. The successful consultant will be responsible for assessing existing infrastructure, confirming future capacity requirements, developing, and evaluating upgrade solutions, preparing detailed design and tender documents, assisting with regulatory approvals and procurement activities, and providing contract administration, construction review, commissioning support, climate reporting, Indigenous consultation technical support, and warranty services. Tender and construction timelines to be determined. Further update may be available in fall/winter 2026. *Cost to be confirmed.
